Refurbishing and upgrading your 8 inch Ford rearend is just about as easy as a 9 inch. There are many aftermarket parts on the market to make your 8 inch everything you need it to do - except handle horsepower. If you don't need the strength of a 9 inch, but would like upgraded brakes and gears and posi in your 8 inch - it can all be done!
